Addictions are Blockages Within: a four-week online course

After a decade working on and off in the field of addiction recovery, with the last year in an addiction setting as part of my Doctorate, I am more certain than ever that what we commonly call ‘addictions’ are ‘symptoms’ of disconnections.

I have noticed in my work helping countless clients that addictions are outer manifestation of inner blockages, often lifelong hidden strategies to cope.

I will be running a four-week online course starting mid-July on understanding what ‘addictions’ are and how to resource yourself to start your recovery. More specifically the four-week course will help you:

 Identify the various forms addictions take

 Hidden addictions not commonly labelled as such

 Understand some of the more common reasons one might develop addictions

 Take your power back and start your journey of recovery

The course includes four 1.5 hour weekly one on one sessions with me, including a 30min presentation audio recorded and tailored to your specific needs, a pdf of the main points of the lecture and an opportunity to work with me. To qualify for this course you must be open to learning and commit fully to the four weeks. There are no refunds once you have signed up and committed for this course.

(Disclaimer: This course is not open to those actively and excessively misusing substances, alcohol or drugs, or actively engaged in process addictions/behaviours requiring more intensive support. Please contact your GP if you need support or are distressed.)
